Lunar Lesson
Let’s begin with a lunar lesson and Scorpio season astrology update.
This weekend's Full Moon in Taurus is associated with harvest, celebration and gratitude.
Samhain and the luxurious Taurus Blue Moon arrive on Halloween evening, October 31st. Samhain is traditionally a Celtic festival — a time to celebrate the final harvest of the year as the cold of winter transcends upon us. It’s a time in which the earth goes quiet, as creatures and plant life go dormant, turning inward for hibernation. Over time it’s also become a night for rituals and rites honoring ancestors, deceased loved ones, and spiritual beings.
Samhain has many names. It’s also known as All Souls Night, Feast of the Dead, Festival of Remembrance, Witches’ New Year, among others. Read more about Samhain rituals here.
At Samhain the veil between the spirit world and the world of the living is thin — it’s a beautiful time to honor our ancestors, paying our respects and holding reverence to those who’ve come before us. No matter how you celebrate remember it’s a day to walk with magnetic power. You have the guidance and energy of so many who’ve come before you lighting the way.

Astrology Report
Mercury stations direct on November 3rd, while in a square to Saturn. According to Elisabeth McKinley, our astrologer at Oui, We this weekend makes for a good time to deep clean your house or “deep clean” your personal finances, making sure that everything is in good order before we wind down the year. Our culture is not one that usually supports us slowing down and going at our own pace, and yet the only pace that matters is your own.
Mars stations direct on November 13th. Though still in its shadow phase for the rest of the year, whatever you might be challenged by you may be facing more directly through the end of the year. Get the full astrology report here.
Commit to your self-care. Taurus rules the thyroid gland. Your thyroid is responsible for regulating hormones, metabolism, heart rate and much more, so treat it well. Healthy eating, avoiding toxins and getting enough sleep are all vital to keeping your thyroid happy. If you need to improve your sleeping patterns, try this Medicine Pillow Ritual (get the details on that below).
Movement
We open our Moon Circles with a dance partayyyy, for this Full Moon we’re dancing to "Golden" by Harry Styles.
Breathwork for the Full Moon
Earthing Breath
This breathwork is a simple grounding practice.
Begin with a one minute breath. The one minute breath looks like this - breath in for a count, hold for an equal count, exhale for that same count. I recommend starting with a count of 5 – inhale for 5, hold for 5, exhale for 5.
Now, visualize breathing in from the earth while you do this, filling up with whatever the earth has to offer to you, letting it flow through you body, and when you breath out let your energy flow back down into the earth. Repeat this cycle for at least 1 minute.
Full Moon Meditation
I Am The Light of My Soul
Our meditation practice focused on the light within each of us.
The recorded meditation is here:
Full Moon Journal Prompts & Fire Ceremony
In celebration of Samhain honor yourself and those who’ve gone before you.
Bring awareness to what you are ready to invite into your life.
Take time to imagine or see yourself living this invitation.
Write the invitation using I am statements:
I AM INVITING _________ into my life.
Next, in honor of your ancestors and guides write a statement honoring them.
I AM HONORING _________ who has gone before me, creating a path for my journey.
Ritual Recommendations
Medicine Pillow
Create a medicine pillow to encourage restful sleep by filling a small pouch with any combination of lavender, mugwort, bay, thyme, oregano, chamomile and rosemary. You can add a few drops of lavender, sage, or bergamot oil, and include one or more small crystals. Put the pouch inside your pillow before going to bed at night.
111 Gratitude
The goal is to write a list of 111 things you're grateful for. Give thanks for all the blessings you've received, for your innate gifts, your inner wisdom, and the experiences that have shaped your. The power of gratitude amplifies the manifestation mind.
