What if we could create more time freedom by banning the to-do list?
If you’re already shaking your head, hear me out. I used to pride myself on my to-dos. I had a fancy notebook to keep track, and it validated that I must be doing something important.
And then, as my business scaled, and I made my first 6-figures, then my 2nd and 3rd, and so on, I realized how important it is to spend my time as a leader and a creative.
My focus needed to shift to holding the vision, building my clean brand Casa Noon, and on tasks that move the needle.
To-do lists are overwhelming, lead to decision paralysis, often focus on the wrong things, and can stifle your creativity. The lists I love making? Future vision, big juicy goals, people to meet, places to go, new product ideas, things I’m dreaming of.
In this episode, I share my #1 strategy for creating time spaciousness.
HOW TO CREATE TIME SPACIOUSNESS
+ 🕧 Monday Hour One — a productivity technique where you spend the first hour of the week planning your time. Identify your top priorities and block off time on your calendar to work on them.
This will help you avoid the unnecessary stuff (& allll those meetings!) that we get sucked into.
+ 🗓️ Time Blocking — schedule specific blocks of time for each task you need to complete. As new tasks come up, evaluate them, load important ones into your calendar and get help for the others. At the end of the week, notice where things that weren’t impact drivers popped up.

HOW I MANIFESTED MY CLEAN BEAUTY BRAND
I wrote the first outline for the brand and shared it with a friend on a quick trip to Los Angeles in 2018.
And then life moved along. I created new courses, started my podcast, and got fantastic brand deals. My blog kept growing, and other areas of my life and business shifted, so I put the idea for the brand on the back burner.
But the thing is - the brand was an obsession.
Everything I've called into my life, especially the biggest, juiciest, dreamiest things — has existed first as a feeling and in my mind's eye.
I imagined how I would feel when the brand launched, how it would make you feel when you tried it, the magical ingredients it would have, the design and aesthetic, and the way it would inevitably change my life.
This brand manifestation didn't just happen because I thought about how nice it would be to have a business.
It happened because I listened to my gut, checked in with my inner brilliance, crafted a vision, declared it to the universe, and persisted with inspired action.
I found an incredible partner to help me develop and manufacture my envisioned brand. I wrote a brand manifesto.
15 year old me would never believe I'd dream up this beautiful brand and then just a few years later be living in LA a few months away from sharing that brand with the world.
What I’ve learned: The secret to manifesting a business that supports your highest calling is leaning into your intuition. Life does change overnight. Sometimes it takes years to get to that night.
