What's In The Hailey Bieber Erewhon Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie?
Ah, Hailey Bieber. The model turned skincare magnate, known to take indie brands from obscurity to overnight sensation and Sephora sellout. On my daily hot girl podcast walk yesterday, Amy Liu, founder of Tower 28 Beauty, said the most “LA thing” that’s ever happened to her was seeing her SOS Facial Spray become an internet sensation because of one, Hailey Bieber.
Hailey is known for gorgeous, glowing skincare secrets that leave a glossy, dewy, and, dare I say, “glazed” finish to the skin. With a mega influence in the skincare space, she recently launched her own beauty brand, Rhode. While Rhode is currently on waitlist there’s another Hailey Bieber sensation making its way around the skincare world.
Enter the Erewhon Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie in collaboration with Hailey Bieber
I’ve officially been a resident of Los Angeles for a little over a year, and while some women embarked on another year of hot girl summer, I found love (of the grocery persuasion) and the most wellness-inspired shopping experience ever at a place called Erewhon Market. I love Erewhon so much I officially dubbed this summer “hot grocery summer” in honor of my regular trips to find delicious, wellness-inspired goods.
The Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie features skin-enhancing ingredients like sea moss, hyaluronic acid, and collagen powder, plus good for you fruits and healthy fats like strawberries, dates, and coconut cream.
As soon as I heard about the smoothie, I took off to my local Erewhon to check it out; once I placed my order, I decided to make my way into the shelves that often feel like a full-on wellness girl treasure hunt to learn more about the recipe ingredients I didn’t already have in my pantry.
First up: Erewhon’s private label sea moss. At around $37 for 16 oz, the benefits of sea moss are lengthy. Considered the superfood of the sea, sea moss contains essential amino acids, minerals, prebiotic soluble fiber, collagen properties, and vitamins like B-12, iron, and copper.
Next on my list: hyaluronic acid liquid (yes, apparently, you can ingest it). A skin-quenching ingredient that retails for about $33 for 16 oz, Hyaluronic acid contributes to tissue hydration and provides hydration to healthy skin and joints.
Once I started sipping I knew this was something I wanted to recreate at home. Rather than making a trip to Erewhon and spending $17 each time I feel the craving, I decided to load up on the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie ingredients. While the ingredient list itself is pricey, I decided if it’s got the Hailey Bieber stamp of skin care glow-up approval, I’d like want to make this magical, anti-aging, hydration-promising concoction a regular afternoon ritual.
How to Make the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie At Home
The recipe was easy to find, Erewhon shared it on Instagram and then Vital Proteins shared their take on TikTok too. Vital Proteins however omitted the two star ingredients - the sea moss and hyaluronic acid - you can order both online if Erewhon isn’t your local grocery.

The Official Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie Ingredient List
@malkorganics Almond Milk - ½ cup
@harrysberries Strawberries - a handful
@vitalproteins Vanilla Collagen - 2 scoops
@neocell Hyaluronic Acid - 1 tablespoon
@zumavalley Coconut Cream - 2 tablespoons
@erewhonmarket Sea Moss Gel - 1 teaspoon
1 Avocado
Maple Syrup - 1 tablespoon
Dates - 2 - 3 chopped
Housemade Strawberry Glaze - 1 tablespoon
Of course, feel free to adjust or sub in ingredients you’ve picked up from your local market. If you can’t find coconut cream, for example, Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk, is a good alternative.
Directions:
Add all ingredients, with the exception of the glaze and the coconut cream, to your blender and mix until smooth.
Add strawberry glaze and coconut cream to your glass first.
Top with blended ingredients, and voila! Cheers to glowing, glazed skin!
Depending on your blender, chop the dates prior to blending to save yourself from having big chunks of dates in the bottom of your glass. While the recipe calls for strawberry glaze, it’s the one thing I skipped at home; you could add a teaspoon of strawberry preserve as an option - but with the natural-occuring sugars in the strawberries, dates and maple syrup, I felt like the glaze wasn’t super necessary.
I’ve been enjoying the Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie fairly often. It’s my go-to when I’m feeling inspired to have something a little bit sweet in the afternoon. As far as results go? Overall, my hot girl grocery summer has resulted in my skin feeling extra glowy this summer, so it’s hard to know if it’s the smoothie, or just eating extra doses of veggies and staying hydrated. Either way - I’m enjoying it and am excited to see what Erewhon, and our girl Hailey do next!
