July Eclipse Season: Total Solar Eclipse in Cancer
It’s eclipse season! Eclipses always arrive in pairs, coinciding with new moon and full moons, as solar and lunar eclipses. July’s eclipses arrive on the 2nd and 16th, as ambassadors of change — these are moments in the year in which the Universe helps us to shake things up, reset and stand up for what we believe in.
During a solar eclipse, shadows are revealed — which can leave us feeling like we need to call on senses that aren’t exactly our everyday go to. It’s a bit like trying to see in the dark… where your eyes slowly start to adjust and then little shapes and textures begin to reveal themselves. Lean into that vision and your sixth sense.
This particular eclipse is in Cancer — this energy is all about mothering - if you haven’t been taking care of yourself, here’s your reminder. The experiences we have around an Eclipse are a bit like destiny calling - these experiences can steer back us onto our path towards our most authentic self if we’ve strayed from that. It’s a time to be reminded to reconnect into the most intuitive parts of oneself.

Here comes the cross over! Yay! We have completed a huge growth spurt and are ready for the next! I know you are probably exhausted but we are making huge strides in freeing our conscious.
I am bringing in a new deck to my practice - it’s one I have been using personally for a year or so on my own. I haven’t shared this deck with clients yet … so I am in the middle of learning a new language too, which is a great sign of being in the process and applying collective knowledge into true self wisdom and practice.
So, the first three cards (above, on the left) are setting the mood of the line we are crossing with the new moon in the darker end, and then the new deck (on the right), the Medicine Woman deck is the eclipse breaking into us all.
The first guides are communicating The Ace of Pentacles being in the center of self reincarnation - this is a moment of regrowth.
You have seen through the self illusion of who you surrounded yourself with. You’ve seen that it’s time to strive for a new creative beginning, something that’s just for you. Keep moving and growing in that direction. Just see through the bullshit and invest in those committed to their own breakthrough and dreams.
The eclipse is starting with the Four of Stones. So hold tightly to your original path - focus on a game plan honoring your career and talents. Hold onto that dream. You are still experience survivor mode thinking so keep investing in yourself! Make wide, but risky decisions.
Our body, mind and spirit are saying they are blending and healing. There is finally a feel of home within yourself and it is giving you space to wander and re-dream more for yourself.
Here, our collective consciousness shows a karmic learning of the lessons of our High Priestress. This is coming into play with the Apprentice of Stones and the Magician. Very badass.
This is a mystic self mastery rise where you realize you have everything you need inside of you and you are activating it by an expansion of knowledge coming into us all. Be drawn to the teachers that are coming for you. Listen to who your guides are crossing your path with.
This opens up new doors to the next realm of the Eight of Stones. This is a new period of refining your craft. This is day-to-day practice on what you want to manifest in your art and craft. Do not depend on the monetary reward to motive you. Move forward! Do it for yourself because you are the only one that matters to know your Self.
