Aries Full Moon
October’s full moon occurs on October 5th at 12° Aries. Mars, the god of war, is the ruler of this full moon. This opens up the possibility for angry and hot tempered outbursts fueled by strong emotions. There is a need to assert oneself, to strive, and to become an independent entity of force under the energy of Aries.
♈️ 🌕 This full moon ruled by aggressive and occasionally violent Mars is unfortunately fitting for the events of the world this week. People are very rightfully angry, outraged, and deeply emotional. Anger is a difficult emotion for most people to deal with, but it is one that needs room to be actualized so it can be expressed in a healthy fashion. Mars is all about the self-asserted attempt of striving against an obstacle and coming out a survivor. We all need to experience this feeling in order to exercise the power of our Mars energy in a positive way. Mars is raw body energy. It’s a great time to get physical, or if thats not your thing, find something that tests you and pushes you to your limits.
🚶🏽 v. 👬 This full moon activates the Aries/Libra axis, which is the Me vs. We in our charts. Where Aries is concerned with it’s solo, Libra is concerned about their harmonies. This full moon is a great time to analyze old and outgrown patterns of codependency or sole self-interest. Relationship issues arise regarding each individuals independence as separate people vs. the functionality of the couple. This full moon is square Pluto - which calls for deep emotional healing, confrontation and action. Breakthroughs in relationships are likely to come in the form of intense and possibly uncomfortable conversations - but don’t be afraid to tread into the dark to seek the very essence of what really brings you together with someone. Shake ups can also occur on a foundational level which can rattle established relationships, as cosmic pressure is applied to see solid proof of growth and importance.
♏️ On October 10th, we have a big cosmic shift coming with Jupiter leaving Libra behind and moving forward into Scorpio. For the last year we’ve been learning to work on our compassion and relationships with others. Now, as we move into Scorpio territory, it will be about merging beyond pleasant superficialities and getting to the heart of the problem that divides us. Wherever your Scorpio house falls - Jupiter will be coming to hang out for the next year and will be expanding that area of lifer you. Jupiter is said to bring abundance- so we will have an abundance of Scorpio feels. Is that a good thing? Lol.. eh who knows, but at this stage of our evolutionary growth its probably time we all reach down to the root of our souls and pluck out some of the surrounding weeds that have weakened our structures.
