What You Can Expect During Aries Season
Spring is the time for renewal energy. April is the ideal month to maintain our values and remind ourselves of our goals and aspirations that we have mused on and brought forth in March to start the new astrological calendar year.
So, What’s Going On with the Planets?
We have a hemispheric emphasis right now, meaning all of the planets are congregating on one side of the zodiac wheel. The winter and spring quadrants are full, while the summer and autumn quadrants are empty, making sense as we transition from winter to spring and all of the flows and changes that go along with that.
Capricorn is the first sign of the winter seasons, and Cancer is the first sign of the summer seasons. We recently had a series of eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn, the last of which was in late spring and early summer last year. This time is kind of a call back to that time.
As the weather gets warmer and things start to open up again, what did you want to do last year that you either weren’t physically able to do, or perhaps you felt too overwhelmed to do? Circle back and allow yourself to treat yourself with conviction and compassion as well.
New Is On the Horizon
When Venus squares Pluto on April 12, we may feel encouraged to start new projects or make changes to how we do things, influenced by love and harmony. If we cuddle up to the things that make us happy and surround ourselves with reminders of joy, this transit can be beautiful and luxurious.
Emphasis On Daily Routines
On April 14, Venus moves into its home sign of Taurus. Grounding down into the earth is an essential antidote to the fiery nature of Aries season. Pay homage to the tangible things in your life as well as the daily routines that ground you down and fire you up for the day.
The sun will square Pluto on the 16th and 17th, while Mars starts to trine Jupiter. This combination of cardinal and air sign energy can have us running from project to project, perhaps neglecting responsibilities and details. Staying grounded in the physical or flowing with the flightiness is a choice, one that each of us will get to make, and it may depend on our individual charts which one will serve us best in this time.
On April 19, shortly after the sun moves into Taurus, the moon moves into Cancer, and we move out of hemispheric emphasis for a bit until it returns to Capricorn on April 30th.
Boundaries Can Help
As we stay in Aries season while preparing for Taurus season, this is a great time to get our morning and evening routines in check, prioritize a sleep schedule, and make sure that harsh electronics are kept away. It can be the way for entrepreneurs and those working from home to combine work and play, but the more we can separate the two with a boundary, the more we can fully enjoy our time and be productive.
